Bhopal: In more good news for Bhopal flyers, Air India has decided to run the Bhopal-Raipur-Hyderabad flight daily from November 5. In five months, the frequency on this route has more than doubled, indicating that there may be demand for other sectors too.
Launched on May 23, it was initially three days a week. In October, it was increased to six days a week, barring Sunday. Area manager (MP, CG), Vishrut Acharya said there were demands - especially from government officials and IT professionals - for higher frequency.
"Feedback was very encouraging as the flight was the only direct connection to South India," said Acharya. The flight 9I 864 will leave Bhopal at 10.15am to reach the destination at 11.45am. From Raipur, it will take off at 12.10pm. Flight 9I 863 will fly from Hyderabad at 6.01am and reach Raipur at 7.55am. The flight to Bhopal will take off at 8.20am and land here at 9.50am.
