The SpiceJet flight from Vizag to Tirupathi via Vijayawada, launched a couple of months ago, will be useful to pilgrims going for the forthcoming Krishna Pushkaralu at Vijayawada from Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.
Flight No.1012 will take off from Tirupati at 11.10 a.m. and reach Vijayawada at 12.15 p.m. and leave at 12.40 p.m. to land in Visakhapatnam at 1.40 p.m.
In the return direction flight no. 1013 will take off from Vizag at 2.20 p.m. and land in Vijayawada at 3.20 p.m. and take off from there at 3.40 p.m. to land in Tirupati at 4.45 p.m.
SpiceJet fares for Vijayawada start from around Rs.2,100.
The Railways and APS RTC have already announced special services for the Krishna Pushkaralu.
Mangipudi Sai Srinivas, engineer from the city working in Africa, who was held hostage by unidentified persons and released after 18 days in captivity, was longing to meet his family members.
