IGI becomes first Indian airport to deploy Rockwell Collins’ ARINC vMUSE mobile solution

India-based Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport has appointed US-based Rockwell Collins to deliver its first mobile common use check-in platform.

Rockwell Collins’ ARINC vMUSE mobile passenger processing solution allows airlines to check in customers from any location using a tablet-based application.

Delhi International Airport Information Technology head Jeewan Khulbe said: “ARINC vMUSE mobile from Rockwell Collins is a way to improve the passenger experience and to provide our airports with cutting-edge solutions when traditional systems are not enough.”
Rockwell Collins Airport System Sales head Paul Hickox said: “IGI understands the value that these new technologies will bring, especially improving operations.

“It is one of the many reasons IGI has repeatedly been honoured by industry groups as one of the world’s leading airports for both quality and customer service.”
