Srinagar: Minister of State for Hajj & Auqaf, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi, today said that Air India will accommodate the left-out Umrah bound passengers of Rajouri and Poonch circuit.
He was replying to a query of Dr. Shehnaz Ganai. The Minister said due to the cancellation of night flights by Air India from June 5 to June 15, about 32 passengers couldn’t make to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah.
The Minister added that, he has communicated the matter to Union Ministry of Civil Aviation, after which Air India has agreed to accommodate 15 devotees today and remaining 17 passengers will board flight tomorrow at Jammu Airport.
