Bengaluru: The pre-Ugadi special for ‘Music at the Airport’ will be a performance by a 15-member choir on April 7 at 5.30 p.m. in the domestic departure section.
‘Music at the Airport’ is an initiative that was started six months ago.
It is a weekly endeavour organised by The Lotus House Group and Aparna Foundation in association with BIAL.
“Thursday’s weekly programme at the airport would bring in 15 members from Dr. Shyamala Bhave’s Sangeet Academy. Ms. Bhave will lead the group.
They will perform songs in Hindustani and Carnatic styles in Hindi, Kannada and Marathi,” said Mala Paropkari of the Lotus House Group.
