New Delhi: On the occasion of its 21st annual day, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) organized a cultural evening and award distribution ceremony in New Delhi.
To mark the occasion, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, presented the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) and Customer Satisfaction Index ( CSI) Survey Awards to the airport directors of Jaipur, Lucknow, Srinagar, Raipur and Chandigarh.
Rajiv Nayan Choubey, Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, S Raheja, Chairman of the Airports Authority and other senior officials were present for the celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sharma said, "I am happy that Airports Authority of India has completed 21 years with dignity, and in last two years we have completed work of those airports which are competing with international airports. There is going to be immense contribution of AAI in the way we want to bring civil aviation from 9th to 3rd rank globally.
Civil Aviation Secretary R.N Choubey said, "Once we have reached to a certain level then to maintain that level is not easy but under the dynamic leadership of AAI we will continue to do better. My biggest regards and wishes for family of AAI."
