Customs Commissioner S.K. Rahman hoped that Gannavaram airport would soon acquire an international character with Air India preparing to establish linkages with foreign destinations.
Felicitating Air India station manager M. Ramasubramaniam at the Customs Preventive Commissionerate here on Monday, Mr. Rahman said the Customs Department was gearing up commence its operations at Gannavaram airport in tandem with the launch of international services, and promised to extend his cooperation for rapid development of the airport.
