We all know how tough and tiring it is to get something approved by bureaucrats. But will take ten years to get an on-board food menu changed? Apparently it does, at least in the case of our prestigious national carrier, Air India.
The menu which has remained unchanged for a decade on the Delhi-London flight is all set to be revamped, finally!
The welcome change came after Ashwani Lohani, Air India's new chairman and managing director was told about the issue during a European trip.
Apparently, the menu remained the same because, even such a minor change had to be approved by some official sitting in Delhi.
Lohani, immediately ordered a change in rules allowing the regional offices to take a call on such issues like in-flight food.
