New Delhi: Panic gripped aviation authorities following reports of a bomb planted in a Bhubaneswar-Mumbai GoAir flight on Saturday morning.
Sources said that immediately after that the GoAir flight GA 284 made an emergency landing in Nagpur at 10.50 am.
After the aircraft made an emergency landing at the Nagpur airport, all the passengers were safely deplaned.
Once the aircraft was evacuated of passengers, a thorough check was carried out by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel.
However, much to the relief of authorities, nothing suspicious was found on the flight.
According to reports, a call was received at ATS Bhubaneshwar and Bagdogra that a bomb has been planted in a suitcase.
