New Delhi: The Air India on Tuesday felicitated those employees who took part in evacuation efforts during different emergency situations across the world.
The event called ‘Humane Efforts of Air India’ was held at PVR cinema at Vansant Kunj in the national capital.
Regional Secretary of Air India Regional Sports Club said that the national airlines had carried out several operations to rescue Indians stuck on difficult situations.
“We are proud to be Air Indians. While we were discussing the matter it occurred to us it should be celebrated,” he said.
The CMD of Air India, Ashwani Lohani, lauded airlines’ employees for their commitment towards rescuing lives and recalled the efforts of their staff during 1990 Kuwait crisis.
Air India has undertaken several missions to provide relief to people stuck in difficult situations.
