A 21-year-old Korean national has complained that she was molested aboard a Delhi-bound SpiceJet flight from Bangalore on Friday night.
The police said that they have arrested the accused, Praveen Kumar (35), a Ludhiana-based businessman and have registered a molestation case at Palam Airport.
The victim is a Delhi University student was returning to the city after attending a seminar.
The third year BA student, who has been staying in India for the past couple of years, had gone to Bangalore on last Monday. In her complaint to the police, she said: “I was coming from Bangalore to Delhi ... Another passenger boarded the flight from Ahmedabad and sat next to me. After a while, he started molesting me. I requested him to behave but he did not stop.”
It further said, “This person asked for my phone number and said he wanted to be friends with me. He also asked me whether I have a boyfriend or not. He further asked if can we meet again.”
