GoAir appoints its new CCO

GoAir today announced the appointment of Mr. Birender Ahluwalia as GoAir’s new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). As the new CCO, Mr. Ahluwalia would focus his efforts on looking after all aspects of network planning, pricing, revenue management, aircraft scheduling, distribution, pricing in addition to sales and marketing functions.
Mr. Ahluwalia started his professional career as a Branch Executive for Aristocrat Marketing Ltd. Bombay. He brings with him sixteen years of leadership experience in Service Management, Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain Management and was Chief Field Services Officer and a member of the Executive Committee with Tata Sky Ltd. before joining GoAir. He has worked with companies like Federal Express Corporation, HDFC Bank Ltd and Blue Dart Express among others. Mr. Ahluwalia has undertaken numerous innovative projects that include development and execution of the long term Business Plan for FedEx in 64 countries in Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent and Africa.
