Great Wall to fly again; Flights to India soon

Great Wall Airlines has resumed its all-cargo air services, earlier than expected. The first flight flew on 21 January between Shanghai Pudong and Amsterdam Schiphol.
Great Wall Airlines is a Sino-Singapore joint venture cargo airline based in Shanghai. It was forced to suspend operations on 21 September after the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on Great Wall Industry Corporation for allegedly supplying missile parts to Iran.
Flights to Mumbai and Chennai, India, will be restored in the coming weeks. The airline intends to expand its network in 2007, connecting manufacturing hubs in China with overseas consumer markets.
