New Delhi: Go Air, the budget airline promoted by industrialist Jeh Wadia group is set to expand its fleet, after starting its operations on November 4, 2005. The nascent airline presently operates 20 services daily, to 11 cities.
From April 3, 06, the line will serve 14 cities, operating 28 flights daily.The airline will link Chennai with New Delhi, deploying Airbus 320, for which Go Air has ordered 10, and has option for 10 more. Wadia says they will have single configuration, offering 180 seats.
The delivery of the planes will start this month and continue till end of 2008, by which time the fleet will expand to an impressive 33 Airbus.
